Head over to the Artist Permissions forum section for all the details on how you can get your music into the game.
You'll be able to ask for help, and hopefully find out if anyone is interested in immediately stepping your tunes.
What do you use for instruments? I really need to get something that sounds more like real instruments (or at least have that smoothness) than the ones in FL. =\
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
Keep in mind I'm pretty stupid about music stuff. I make rap beats more than anything, and any dip**** can do that, so I have yet to learn REALLY IN DEPTH about music-making things. I mean, I like the stuff that FL has somewhat, but it's just not appropriate if I want some brass or strings or anything that sounds remotely real at all.
That said, wtf is a soundfont?

Soundfonts are files that are recorded, real instruments; kind of like a midi file for that particular instrument. They require a specific plugin player to use (which comes bundled with FL >_<), but they are responsive to velocity changes and all effects. I admit that there are some really ****ty soundfonts out on the internet, much as there are really ****ty midis, but there are also some really, really good ones. Ipatch and I were discussing his purchasing of a $35 piano soundfont just the other day. You should be able to find some good ones out on the internet for free though.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and most the instruments that come with FL are also sample based from real instruments, though a lot of them do suck quite a bit. Unless you are making old skoolz 80's electro.
