First of all, this is the US rip-off version of Ricky Gervais' "The Office" which started here.
Secondly, it gained huge popularity but I never found it to be that funny.

Sorry, but I've seen the original UK version and to be quite frank, I did not enjoy as much as I enjoy the US version now. Yeah, they are the same concept, similar situations (first season only), and based on the same characters, but they are completely different in execution and different styles of humor. The US version is more over the top and borderline ridiculous, but that is why I love it. The UK version is more depressing and dry...like everything British.

I LOVE this show. Amazing find. Thank you so much for posting it. Well, now I know what I'll be doing tonight. I have the season 1 and 2, but that's really cool they have the third season already.
Tomorrow is the 1 hour Christmas special! Can't wait.

Simple premise.
To Americans, the American version would be better due to it trying to appeal to American humour.
Same with British humour, they try to appeal to it.
That is why you should find your version of The Office funnier.Comment

Tim is almost exactly like Jim, no difference there. Dawn is pretty much the same as Pam, too, only I think Jenna Fischer is more attractive. Gareth and Dwight, while similar, are completely different characters, same with David Brent and Michael Scott.Comment
