Re: Bring this to your school board
That sure would make me happy. DDR at school. Only trouble is...will there be enough machines to go around? It would get too popular too fast and there wouldn't be enough machines to supply everyone with happiness.-One handed Player-

yeah, I heard about this. It's good to improve your physical condition. Too bad our school doesn't have one

Re: Bring this to your school board
Ugh.
I found out last week that the middle school in my school district has a DDR machine.
Of course, the high school doesn't. Thanks...Comment

Re: Bring this to your school board
Geez. When I was in school I had to run and do sit-ups and then they fed us soy for lunch. Now there's DDR. Back in my day, our version of a video game was dodge ball.

Re: Bring this to your school board
My middle school got ITG and DDR last year. Cobalt fluxes are a lot of fun. What an awesome website. Etc.
In the U.S., this game (talking about ITG) seems to be overtaking DDR in popularityComment

Re: Bring this to your school board
Some of you are being a bit silly.
Sure, it would be nice to have a DDR machine for your gym class. And yes, it would motivate some people who wouldn't otherwise be physically active.
However, they are quite expensive and would require upkeep that would otherwise not be needed at all in a normal high school.
A much easier solution: donate an old PS2, soft pad, and a copy of an old DDR game (all things that I'm sure most of you have lying around the house). If it's all free, I'm sure the gym teachers would allow it in place of other activities. That would give something cheap and fun for gym class and possibly motivate the people with power to invest in something better (such as a full on machine, or at the very least a good metal pad).
