Our school just started a DDR/Bemani club at school. It's going pretty good so far with plenty of regulars and alot of people come to watch and hang out. Anyone else have one at your school? any ideas that your club does for fun? Any ideas for little mini tournaments for the club?

Re: DDR/BEMANI clubs at school..
The one I started is horrible. Barely any good players, and barely anyone knows what it even is. I had a record of one person show up for a club meeting.
I might do an arcade tourny at the end of the year, winners get movie tickets or something.

Re: DDR/BEMANI clubs at school..
In my old middle school we had a DDR club. We would always stay after in the science room and move all the tables off to the side and have the television and mats in the middle. We've been trying to make one at my current school, but we can't get enough people to sign. =(there's too much blood in my caffeine systemComment

We had one in our school but it lasted only for 1 year. and they just got their metal pad too. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile way and you have their shoes.Comment

Re: DDR/BEMANI clubs at school..
If you guys start a DDR club then have fun being ridiculed and shunned through your school years because seriously that isn't something you should do even if you like/love the game.
Now if it was Bemani as a whole, I can see it working a lot better.Comment

Re: DDR/BEMANI clubs at school..
Well, I wouldn't really call my school's Music Game club an actual club, for it doesn't get a pic in the yearbook
Twenty Three friends, my theater director, and myself decided it would be great to all have 4th period off (on a 7-block schedule). During this period, the director hooks up five televisions in his room and we load up music games and just play and have fun. We met after school a few weeks out of the year last year, and this year we're going to be meeting more after school, only once all the other extra curricular activities are set and done. We will always have 4th period though.
The games we played (love you Rebirth0) were Guitar Hero 1 and 2, DDR MAXX 1 & 2, Extreme 1 & 2, Supern0va, ITG, Beatmania, FFR, SM, Amplitude and Parappa the Rapper (good game).
EDIT: We didn't need permission from an administrator since we don't need any money to start this club. We will soon start fundraising, so we will have to ask an administrator in the neer future. The finds will be for shirts and yearbook space.Comment
