::Playing Imports On A US PS2::

Who says you needed a MOD chip to play Japan & Europe PS2 games on the US Consol. All you need is one program...

It's one CD you just stick in your PS2 that modifies your entire PS2 system to play imports. However, you have to read the user guide on the site first cause you may need certain attachments depending on what model you have. The newer skinnier PS2 systems are easier to use with this program than the old fat PS2's, but it still works none-the-less.

It's called a Boot Disc. I had one for my PSone, but you needed a little
thing to prop the lid up with and when you lost that you had to go all
    McGuyver with a paper-clip.

I didn't even use the paper clip, I just piut the little sticker in once and then, from then on, just put the boot disc in. Worked just fine for me.
