    Fairly Oddparents: Channel Chasers

Now I would never make a post about a made-for-Nick movie, but this movie stands out above a whole pile of crap that comes from Nick nowadays. Basically, the hour and a half movie goes like this:

"Timmy wishes for a magic remote control that will allow him to travel inside television, despite being grounded and facing pressure from his parents not to watch any. After Vicky wrecks the Turner home while babysitting and blames it on Timmy, they take his magic remote and place it in her hands, unaware of her evil nature and her desire to conquer the world -- a dream she could now make come true unless Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, and a new friend from the future race through every channel to stop her and her evil schemes."

Now when Timmy goes inside TV, you would think it would just be silly tv shows right?

Wrong. What happes over the next hour is some of the funniest jokes I have ever seen in a cartoon. They visit these parodies of shows and more:

    - Peanuts
    - Johnny Quest
    - The Simpsons
    - Batman
    - Space Ghost
    - Rugrats
    - Bugs Bunny
    - Flinstones
    - Jetsons
    etc.

Not only that, we finally got to hear about the true process that a child and their fairies must go through when the child grows up. It's a very mature and thought out process and fits very well with the story. The ending was very well done and does a nice job of wrapping up the movie. There is a srong sense of production value in this movie. Good job Nick.

I don't wanna post spoilers but I'm not sure if I've seen this and I'm too lazy to google it. But does the closing scene have the battle on the star wars theme scrolling letters?

Ha. It wasn't the Star Wars scrolling letters but just the animation credits of another tv show. A funny quote from that scene went like this.

Timmy: "Why are these credits moving so fast?"

Cosmo: "Because these are the animation credits and they move so fast because nobody cares about those guys!"

*Wanda gives Cosmo a dirty look*

      XD

If you go on Youtube, they have the entire movie in 7-8 minute chunks so you can watch a little bit without having to sit for an hour and a half.

Ya alright I caught the last half hour or hour of this. It was pretty good. I kinda wanna watch the whole thing though now.
