Let's get edumacated by playing video games.

I read the "School bans fun" thread by strechypanda, and I saw this at the bottom.

I find this funny, as it seems to be quite out of their field.

The theory is that games teach skills that employers want: analytical thinking, team building, multitasking and problem-solving under duress.
WAIT! GAMES MAKE YOU MULTITASK AND QUICKLY SOLVE PROBLEMS IN STRESSFUL SITUATIONS, SOMETIMES UTILIZING TEAMWORK AND THINKING HARD ABOUT THEM!?

      THIS IS NEWS TO ME!
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Those scientists are really on a roll! They've recently declared something that's been pretty obvious for years to anyone with half a brain. Doug Lowenstein seems to be on the same boat that I'm on.

When I was between the age of 3-5 years old my parents used games like Mario and Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past to teach me how to read.

            It works, omg.

It counts because it was said by people who have a degree in something.
