This is nothing like the arade DDR...

    Reasons:

    A) The scoring system
The scoring system in regular DDR has a way where it takes the number of arrows in the song, and has a designated number of points for each arrow, and its combo so the formula is number of notes in the song / rating points x combo.
    B) Missed? WTF IS MISSED?
You NEVER get points off for hitting the wrong arrow, only for not hitting the right arrow. There is no such thing as deducted points.
    C) Rating at the end
You usually get your statistics and also your letter rating. AAA if you get all perfects, AA if you get all combo, A, B, C, D, and E if you fail.
    D) Step Ratings
The step ratings in DDR are- Perfect, great, good, almost, miss, and boo. Also, you only get combos for getting perfects and greats and nothing else.
    E) Groove Meter
In this, you get one circle down if you get a "Missed". In DDR you get a certain ammount of your groove meter down for your rating. Almost, miss, and boo all deduct from your groove meter.
    F) BPM
You should learn how to program your songs to go at their true BPM (beats per minute if you didn't know). All the songs stay at the same speed in this. I know it might be hard in flash but learn how to do it.
    G) Difficulty Ratings
In DDR there is Basic(Light-6th Mix), Trick(Another-earlier mix, Standard-6th Mix), and Maniac(Heavy-6th Mix) You should program different ratings.
    H) Foot Ratings
You could do hand ratings/finger ratings because in DDR each song has a "foot rating" for how difficult it is. The songs can be from 1 - 10 feet, 10 being the hardest.
    I) Different Arrow Colors
Depending what beat a arrow is on its color changes 1/4-Red 1/8-Blue 1/12 (I think)- Yellow and 1/16- Blue.
    J) Splits
The splits never count unless you hit them at the same time.

These are all the differences I can find for now.

It's not supposed to be like DDR. It's supposed to be different.

Unfourtunately- the name is Flash Flash Revolution. It should be more like DDR if it takes the double word revolution title. If you're gonna copy that much it should be more like the game. Anyway- the "differences" suck in my opinion.

        Sigh,

        H) Foot Ratings

Does not it state how hard it is on a song with little tiny slashes?

Being as I only play DDR EVERYDAY, as well as every other person on this site, I wasn't able to notice the differences between DDR and FFR. Thank you for pointing out the obvious Poop1234.

          Oh,
You left out that DDR is played on a BIG METAL PAD. Or maybe you were refering to some other DDR game called "arade", which I have never heard of.

It's all in fun and games though.

A new scoring system is being thought up now.

            B) Missed? WTF IS MISSED?
You NEVER get points off for hitting the wrong arrow, only for not hitting the right arrow. There is no such thing as deducted points.
You get a Boo! in Beatmania and break a combo if you press a key when you shouldn't.

            C) Rating at the end
You usually get your statistics and also your letter rating. AAA if you get all perfects, AA if you get all combo, A, B, C, D, and E if you fail.
We want be a bit more unique than that.

            D) Step Ratings
The step ratings in DDR are- Perfect, great, good, almost, miss, and boo. Also, you only get combos for getting perfects and greats and nothing else.
Well, now, here's where that "This is not DDR" comment makes sense.

            E) Groove Meter
In this, you get one circle down if you get a "Missed". In DDR you get a certain ammount of your groove meter down for your rating. Almost, miss, and boo all deduct from your groove meter.
A new lifebar system is also being worked on.

            F) BPM
You should learn how to program your songs to go at their true BPM (beats per minute if you didn't know). All the songs stay at the same speed in this. I know it might be hard in flash but learn how to do it.
Point out a place where the songs aren't the same speed.

            G) Difficulty Ratings
In DDR there is Basic(Light-6th Mix), Trick(Another-earlier mix, Standard-6th Mix), and Maniac(Heavy-6th Mix) You should program different ratings.
Multiple step charts for each song are also being worked on and will be implemented in Remix #2

            H) Foot Ratings
You could do hand ratings/finger ratings because in DDR each song has a "foot rating" for how difficult it is. The songs can be from 1 - 10 feet, 10 being the hardest.
We're gonna be a bit more unique than that. Nestlekwik's thermometer system seems promising.

            I) Different Arrow Colors
Depending what beat a arrow is on its color changes 1/4-Red 1/8-Blue 1/12 (I think)- Yellow and 1/16- Blue.
            Have patience.

            J) Splits
The splits never count unless you hit them at the same time.
flash doesn't recognize double presses. FFR gets around this with two very fast presses in a row.

Sorry if I came off as a bit harsh, but hey, I answered each and every one of your questions

                ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY WRONG

I full combo gentle stress on 3rd style all the time and I get 1 poor, boo is the rating above poor like boo in ddr. You get a POOR if you press the button randomly WHEN THERE ARE KEYS ON THE SCREEN.

You don't get a miss when there are no keys on the screen either, I also full comboed a few songs on BM5key core mix while getting poors, and I press notes all the time when they're on the screen and don't get poors

CHECK YOUR SOURCES BEFORE YOU AUTOMATICALLY USE INFO POSTED BY SOMEONE ELSE THAT YOU CANNOT COMPLETELY CONFIRM YOURSELF

The scoring system where it's based on combo is completely irrational when coupled with this awful missing system. It should be based on how many perfects/goods you get, so a miss is completely trivial.

Geez, you don't have to get all bitchy because I said Boo! instead of Poor.
