      Did you read the article? It is not that the kid was hit with the ball (that probably didn't hurt much), but the freaking coach payed an 8 year old to hit the autistic kid because he sucked at baseball. He could've have just made another excuse, I think. Like tell him to be a designated hitter and put him last on the line up. So he won't play, but it won't really look like it was on purpose.
