    Dream Theater - Score

I bought it today because I finally found it somewhere for a cheap enough price (got it with student discount for £11).

Another live album by Dream Theater, but this is performed with an orchestra on Discs 2 and 3. Think something along the lines of "S&M" by Metallica.

    This is the track listing:

    Disc 1 - 58:22
    1. The Root Of All Evil (8:22)
    2. I Walk Beside You (4:10)
    3. Another Won (5:21)
    4. Afterlife (5:56)
    5. Under A Glass Moon (7:28)
    6. Innocence Faded (5:36)
    7. Raise The Knife (11:43)
    8. The Spirit Carries On (9:46)

    Disc 2 - 60:47
    1. Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence (41:33)
    1) I. Overture
    2) II. About To Crash
    3) III. War Inside My Head
    4) IV. The Test That Stumped Them All
    5) V. Goodnight Kiss
    6) VI. Solitary Shell
    7) VII. About To Crash (Reprise)
    8) VIII. Losing Time / Grand Finale
    2. Vacant (3:01)
    3. The Answer Lies Within (5:35)
    4. Sacrified Sons (10:38)

    Disc 3 - 37:55
    1. Octavarium (27:16)
    1) I. Someone Like Him
    2) II. Medicate Me
    3) III. Full Circle
    4) IV. Intervals
    5) V. Razor's Edge
    2. Metropolis (Metropolis Part 1) (10:39)

    Total Time: 157:04
As I was working tonight I've only started listening to it, and will only listen to the first disc tonight, then I go to Paris the next day and will have 2 and 3 to listen to when I get back. So far it doesn't seem as good as my favourite live album "Live Scenes In New York" but maybe having the entire Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence will change that.

Anyone else get this yet? I know there are a few DT fans here.

EDIT: Oh holy **** "The Spirit Carries On" is the best version of it I've ever heard, makes me love the song even more than I already did.

If you've never listened to them before then I recommend starting with Awake or Metropolis Part 2: Scenes From A Memory, those are better studio albums.

Live wise "Live Scenes From New York" is better but this is freaking awesome, the orchestra doing the intro and all the background for all 41 minutes of Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulance is epic.

Have every album except for the live albums.

You own When Dream And Day Unite and Falling Into Infinity? Ouch. Waste of money there.

I own all studio albums except for those two and a change of seasons (though I have the song from the album) and I own two live albums and their bootlegs of Metallica and Pink Floyd.

They were given to my brother by a friend, so we did not buy them.

I love Dream Theater!!!! I started with train of thought. Then I got Octavarium, then I started to download them because most stores that are near me don't have bands like them. They only have stuff like Micheal gets Freaky with 6 year old. Gay things like that. I really like their Live at Budikon.

P.s. Every band that I have, I have their Budikon Album( if they have one).
