I used to watch the show seriously for a while, but then I started slipping. I don't even know how the last season ended (anyone care to tell me, and in doing so, remind others who may have forgotten?). That said, I'm sure it will be great. Then again, I don't know if I'll even be able to make time for it. When does it air and when does it start airing?
There's a reason for that, and that's that it was extremely awesome.
Spoiler alert
Actually, since I'm asking questions for the rest of the thread to answer, this whole thread should (and will) be under spoiler alert.
Did anyone else not trust Lana when she asked for the dagger?
How much do you trust Lex to rebuild? Do you think he'll legitimately rebuild the city and then become a heartless businessman again? Or will he be heartless from the start and take advantage of everyone?
And also, the odds of surviving a pilotless plane crash are astronomical when you're strapped safely into your seat. So how in the HELL did Lois and Martha survive that?

Reason: Cuz i spelled clark wrong
"Calvin and hobbes were riding down the hill on thier sled. "I wonder how fast we are going." inquired calvin, "Well, we could calculate our feet per second, and convert that into miles per hour." said Hobbes.
"That sounds like math..." said Calvin.
"It is." said Hobbes
And calvin looked at hobbes, his eyes shining with intelligence and youth, and said "I suddenly dont care anymore."
I think it was because somehow Jar-El managed to have them land in the Fortress, and Jar-El wanted them to live so Martha could carry out Clark's mission:Kill the vessel. (Lex)
I wondered how they were going to handle the movie based phantom zone compared to what the phantom zone really is supposed to be.
I guess they did an ok job.
As for Martha and Lois surviving the plane crash: What caused the crash in the first place? I think it was mentioned in this episode that Jor-El (I never noticed that "El" is actually a surname rofl) caused it. If so, it's possible that he (is using this sort of pronoun correct when there isn't actually a person?) could have protected them as well. Either way, if Jor-El can affect the material world in some way, he could have protected them.
As for the actual plot of the episode: it seemed kinda mashed together. I think it would have worked better as a two parter.
Oh, and what happened to Zod after he was released? I believe he is a key element in Superman 2 (I've never actually seen it haha). So what's the deal there? Also, why wasn't Zod in the Phantom Zone? Or was he in there and he simply escaped somehow when he took over Lex?
Also, when will:
a) Clark begin to fly?
b) don the suit and cape?
He's already out of school right? It's obvious that they're moving more toward Metropolis and less toward Smallville. Do you guys think they'll simply avoid him actually EVER becoming Superman? They already left out all of his time as Superboy, so having him never actually become Superman wouldn't be that big of a deal.
EDIT: oh i guess Superboy never actually existed according to current DC continuity rofl
oh well

Well, if you saw the season finale of last season, it was shown that Zod was released when Clark stabbed Milton Fine (I don't really understand who he was, but I'm sure he wasn't an actual Kryptonian) with the dagger instead of killing Lex who at the time was the vessel, as said.

:\
No, I meant it more as "where was Zod before he inhabited Lex?" Was he in the Phantom Zone? If not, why wasn't he? If so, how did he get out?
Ahh...as far as I know, Jor-El banished Zod to the Phantom Zone for destroying Krypton. Or...something along those lines.
And, I'm pretty sure he was released because one of the ways the gateways for him (Zod) would open was if Clark killed Milton Fine with the dagger, which of course Clark didn't know until he did it.
