Someone told me that in Japan they are working on a ToS anime series and plan to release it in the US in 2007...... is this just a rumor?

It is indeed true. However, Anime News Network has it listed as coming out in Japan in 2007, so the U.S. release will probably be quite a bit slower.
Edit: The art director for this OVA series is the same man who did the character designs for the Rurouni Kenshin OVAs, so I'm a little excited to see what he'll do.Last edited by Belgarion; 09-10-2006, 09:18 PM.

Odds are good that it will be fansubbed within a week of its air date in Japan. The Tales of Phantasia OAVs were subbed fairly quickly and that game wasn't nearly as popular as Symphonia.Comment
