    Little Miss Sunshine

    Holy hell why doesn't this thread exist yet?

    Easily one of the best movies I've seen all year. Loser dad trying to sell a self-help series, well-meaning mom, Steve Carell (!!!), son who has taken a vow of silence, heroin-addicted grandfather, beauty pageant hopeful, all in a VW bus trying to get to California.

    omg hilarious. Loved it. Go see it. Go now.

      I heard this movie was absolutely brilliant, like up in the "Thank You For Smoking" level of brilliance.

          Totally. It's a really good dysfunctional family comedy. It covers just about every emotion an audience can feel toward any given character.

              Dwayne (the son) was by far my favorite character.

              "So who do you hang out with? Who are your friends?"
              *shakes head*
              "You don't have any friends?"
              *writing on a notepad* "I HATE EVERYONE"
              "Even your own family?"
              *underlines the word "EVERYONE"*

              Hilarious.

                  It was a pretty good movie. Not usually what I'm into but still good.
                  There is a 50% chance your pillow will eat you while you are sleeping.

                      i rofl'd at random parts, but it wasn't THAT great. What made it great was that it's based off real disfunctional families.

                          I thought the movie was extremely well thought out and executed perfectly. However, it was so good that it actually felt too well thought out and executed too perfectly therefore lossing much of spontenuity that plagues real life thus rendering it unrealistic.
