Whenever I use the SM Tools thingy, my songs get screwed up!

Whenever I want to make a new stepfile, and I use the Tools and Exporter thing, it works fine, but then I get to the editor, and the song skips horribly! Then, if I close SM, and listen to the mp3 in the cooresponding folder, it's perfectly fine. Can someone help?

Are you using SM 4.0? If so, DON'T USE THAT! USE SM 3.9!

Also, it may be a bug from the import/exporting.

        Don't use SM tools then.

I've never used SM tools. I just make a new clean .sm-file in the same folder as the mp3, edit the .sm-file to my liking and start stepping. I've never experienced any skipping with this method.

Well, I fixed it. I just converted the song into an OGG file, and it's clean now.
