hey guys found a Linkin Park song worth stepping

And do you know why? No lyrics. Linkin Park without the lyrics actually makes for pretty good music.

Don't think I have much time right now but I'll see if I can get it stepped before the end of next week.

Tell me what the song is, or PM me if you need to keep it on the DL. I doubt it's the one I was planning on, but I'd like to be sure.

It's either Cure for the Itch or Session, or one of the unreleased songs.

Both of which have simfiles already.

I've said before that Joe Hahn is an amazing MC. People just don't take him seriously because he's with Linkin Park.

I really don't see why people bust on Linkin Park. For the style of music they make, it is very good. The lyrics are cheesy sometimes (see: "Crawling"), but overall I'd say their lyrics aren't bad.

And really, when it comes to stepfiles, I'd say there is a lot of potential in rock bands, but people tend to stay away from them, possibly because they don't like the music or possibly because the BPMs aren't always constant.

Yeah, it's Session. And it's been stepped, but judging by the fact that it had light and standard steps too I'm assuming it's meant to be padded and didn't step all the cool bzzts or stutters.

There's actually a second song I'm tempted to step by them, name escapes me right now...

I generally agree with the first paragraph thing. I'm not a big fan of them, but I don't hate their music.

Basically, though, all of their stuff would be terrible to simfile. Rock needs to be stepped more, yes. Linkin Park doesn't.

The song I'm planning on doing is X-Ecutioner Style, from Reanimation. I should've known it wasn't this, since it has lyrics, but I wanted to be sure. It's basically some Linkin Park samples and some rap, about 1:30 long. I CALL IT NO ONE ELSE CAN DO IT NOW SORRY

Mr. Hahn is insane. He should go solo, and remix other peoples songs for money.

                    X-ecutioner style isn't a Linkin Park song.

It's a song by the X-ecutioners. They're one of Linkin Park's friend bands. They did a song together that actually became somewhat popular called "It's Going Down."

But hey, it's on a Linkin Park CD, so you should give them credit. Mr. Hahn probably mixed it anyway.

Ps I have the original song if you want it

I was actually going to credit it to Black Thought, because that's who it credits on the CD. Want to clarify this?

And yeah, it's really not Linkin Park at all.

Re: hey guys found a Linkin Park song worth stepping

The samples are from Linkin Park songs. Black Thought's lyrics. The guys who mixed it originally were the X-ecutioners.

Artists that have worked with The X-Ecutioners are as follows:

                        Black Thought
                        From the wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_X-Ecutioners

I'd say give credit to Black Thought.
