But.. come on.. Would you like to be in charge of the hundreds of requests that come in daily? The testing materials and questions? How are you going to be sure they aren't cheating? How does this have anything to do with maturity level once they are granted access? Wouldn't this just make people go away because they can't participate?

Seems like a huge mess of trouble. The only gain would be approximately .001% of the site massaging eachother with baby oil.

I don't know about you, but that sounds pretty good to me.

Besides, if a user's passing of the test is called into question (ie cheating, etc.), the mods can simply boot them to the lower forum. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the chat have a similar feature?

we DO ban people for being retarded n00bs... although it takes time to reach that point and the bans aren't for that long. at first.

And I'd say in these special instances, the "time to reach that point" should be discounted. These people are ****ing retarded as hell.

Hmm...I really am sick of the idiots in the GB. Maybe when someone's acting like they deserve a ban, give them the quiz. If they get less than 50%-60% right, ban them for the mod's desired amount of time. If the get 1/25 right, consider banning them from the whole site for a while. THEN they'll learn, hopefully.

I'm usually not for radical movements and discrimination, but I'm going to have to agree here. Have some sort of criteria in order to be allowed into certain parts of the forum. It's become almost unbearable to read threads now, because of something retarded in it.

EDIT: Sigh, this is TPS again. Keep forgetting to log out.
