I was talking to my friend at work one day when the discussion turned towards music. We explained our various likes and dislikes until we came across the discussion of Techno and Electronica. The convo went something like this:
Me: "Yeah I like people like Venetian Snares, Basement JaxX, and Daft Punk."
Friend: "You like Daft Punk? They're one of my favorite groups!"
Me: "Mine too. I wish they would come to America and do a concert sometime. I would totally go."
*Friend's face turns into dissapointment.*
Friend: "Sorry to tell you this dude but Daft Punk did a concert back in May in California at Coachella."
Me: "WTF COACHELLA!? DAFT PUNK PLAYED AT COACHELLA!?"
Manager: "Would you be quiet Danual!? You have to keep your voice down!"
Me: "Sorry ma'am. Daft Punk played at Coachella?"
Friend: "Yeah, if you go online, someone might have the footage of the concert. Seriously, it might be the greatest concert in recent music history man."
So I go home and start looking up YouTube and Google Video for any indication to this concert. Low and behold, Google Video had one video that had about 59 mintues of the concert.
Good enough for me.
I sat and turned up my speakers and watched what was possibly the greatest concert I've ever seen in my entire life. Words cannot explain how mezmerizing this concert was. I would've given my left nut just to be in the ROOM. Anyways, no more suspense. Here's the concert that stole the show at Coachella 2006 in California and will never be reproduced ever again.
