          i dont know why hollywood even bothers making remakes they all just seem to suck. remakes are insults to the originals.

              Because remakes are guaranteed to make a certain amount of money rather than taking a chance on an original story which may bomb and end up losing money.

              EDIT: oh and something about this movie: I saw a trailer for it. I didn't know it is a remake. I thought it looked pretty good. That's another reason they make remakes: for people who never saw the original and don't feel like fussing with old movies.

                          I didnt know about the sequel until after I saw the movie. Hollywood has turned The Wicker Man which was a psychological thriller into a generic supernatural horror film.

I mean how dare they make money by recycling this crap and putting nicholas cage in it.. I want to throw up

                                      and affrobean yet again proves he has no taste or intelligence... go watch some of the classics, they're that way for a reason, because they're amazing movies.. like people come and say "omg the truth about charlie was sooo intriguing" and I respond "stfu bitch go watch Charade"
