You can download many of the songs in FFR and listen to them on your computer; see this topic.Comment

yea, all u need is Audacity for that to happen. Download the program and set it to record "wave out mix" and then go play a song on FFR. Start recording and then being playing the song, just make sure you dont fail it. And when your done edit it and listen to it as long as you want.

Re: Is it possible to just listen to FFR songs?
It's posted above, but I thought I'd clarify a little about what to do. Sorry if this is unnecessary.
1) Download Audacity. This is a freeware, open-source sound-recording program that will let you record from your microphone, stereo mix, or other sound channel.
2) By default, you cannot export .mp3 files with Audacity without a certain .dll file. Follow these directions to get the "LAME MP3 encoder" and be able to export .mp3 files.
3) Run Audacity. Once the program has loaded, find the white box that says "microphone." Change this so that it reads, "stereo mix."
4) Click the record button on Audacity. This will cause the program to start recording anything that you can hear out of your computer's speakers.
5) While it is recording, play the song or sound that you are wanting to record to a new file.
6) When you're done recording the sound, press the stop button. Now you can edit the song to your liking (remove the gap at the beginning or end, change volume, etc). Play around with the settings and editing options; they're mostly straight-forward.
7) After editing, click file, then "Export as .mp3." Name your file, choose the information you want for it, and you have created a new .mp3 file.
Once you're all finished making the mp3, you can listen to it anytime without having to play the level.Comment
