just thought i'd randomly post my POEM

"Goodbye"
Theres never a right time to say goodbye,
As time slows down at this very instant;
Memory, hatred, and love replay in my mind,
Leading to this moment in which my love makes it descent.
Walking out the door, only imagining whats on the other side,
True never-ending war of love and hate profoundly collide,
Leaving me stranded in this life-changing moment,
Suffering is my heart, shattered in piles of torment.
In the end, our values and minds repair themselves,
Dust collects on our emotions left on unspoken shelves,
Allowing the words to escape my mouth, "goodbye,"
For one precious moment, my heart is the object I defy.
