Arrows hit but register a miss

I have been having this problem ever since I started playing but notice it more and more now.

What happens is that I will hit an arrow and it will register as a 'good' hit and the little message will pop up. It even does the little flash effect but the arrow doesn't disappear and just keeps going and registers a miss once it moves off. I am 100% sure that I have hit the arrow and that it was a 'good' hit but I still get a miss after.

It happens on every song and with every direction arrow but it only ever happens with 'good' hits, never perfect or average. Has anyone else ever had this problem or have any idea how to fix it?

jacks would be the only thing I can think of.... often times on jacks you'll register a good/ave and a miss. But theoretically that could go for other stuff too. The principle is based on the fact that you are hitting the 2nd note late, and FFR has a problem registering very late hit arrows. It gives you the good, but will also give you the miss.

That could be your problem... if every one of these occurances is happening when you hit a note late.

Nah...this is normal. If you hit a note late enough, it'll register both a good and a miss. That's all.

sometimes when i am playing gradeus or uberrave v2 i will be hitting the arrows right on, but i get a random miss out of the miss of nowhere, like a secret arrow made it a jack or something.

Or it might just be how my keys are getting pretty beat

Ok, I'm guessing this is a pretty stupid question but what is a jack?

a jack is short for jackhammer... aka, 2 more more notes on the same directional arrow in a row. such as in Crystalis.
