    FFR is screwing up my laptop's cd drive

    Just made the third time my starcraft loader window has poped up in the middle of a song. Apparently I'm banging too hard on my keypad and the CD drive thinks it need to run autoplay.

    Suggestions?

          Don't bang?
          It doesn't take alot of weight to press an arrow...
          Maybe spread wouldn't be as loud as index, I don't know.

                  The starcraft CD has been in my drive for about a month.

                  I really should finish that game already.

                          Linus that was a horrible post.

                          And my SC cd is always in my drive unless I need it for something else.

                          Banging less is not an option either.

                                  I was about to say that. I'm pretty sure you just view the properties of the CD Rom Drive, and disable it.

                                      I get that same problem, except, a wide variety of stuff happens. It did a few of the following: Turn on my sound, played my music cd, opened the task manager, killed my computer (crashed), open every item on my desktop, and at one time, activated shut-down to run in dos mode. All this from pressing a few arrow keys.

                                          Aha, guys...umm gerbi buy a cheap 20 dollar usb keyboard from walmart and attach it. Thats how i fixed mine, which is totally broken now by the way.

                                              How hard do you press the keys, haha. It should not do that.

                                              Scottish is right, a USB Keyboard would be your best bet.

                                                  Mind you I like my laptop's arrow keys.

                                                  And disabling autoplay isn't really going to help the fact that I'm probably damaging the drive anyways.
