Okay, so i decided to start a topic for Gantz, my alltime favorite anime of all times. I have found than many people have not heard of or do not know what Gnatz is, so i guess i started it for that reason. I only have the japanese version, i dont knwo if names changed or not. So if someone could post the english version names that would be great.

So im back, i have the names and everything. Now im gonan put up the info about the show. Pretty much the first episode, and some extra stuff.
The show starts off with Kei Kurono, he just bought a naughty magizine at a local bookstore. He is heading home, waiting for a train, when a drunken man falls onto the tracks. Katou Masaru, a old friend of Kei's, decides to help the drunken man. He cant do this by himself so he askes for help, but, of course, no one offers. He spots Kei and tells him to help, which he does. By the time the drunk is back the train starts to come. Katou says that the train has to stop soon and that they should run until it does, but this train ends up being an express train to another place. The train continues to go through, hitting the two.
They end up going to a room with a few other people. All were close to death when brought to this room. There was no way out, no doors and the windows seemed like they were painted on. So they all stayed there. The people were supposed to introuduce themselfs, but some people were not willing to.
Soon the black ball in the room started to have writting on it, explaining what they were to do. It was a mission of life and death. whoever stayed alive lived another day, but the people that died were gone forever.
The mission was to catch an alien. The ball opened and guns and suits were there. Some people decided to wear this suit, but others didnt. Everyone took a gun.
So pretty much the show is about people who died trying to get another chance by doing misssions given by the mysterious black ball named Gantz.
This show is full of action and everything. The bonds between the cxharacters and the characters themself. The animation is very good too. This show is not for young people. It does have a few sex scenes. More towards episode 8 and up.Playing: DJMAX Technika 2

I decided to get this show solely based on the intro. I haven't started yet.
This show has one of the best opening themes I have EVER heard. If this intro went with S-cry-ed, that show would have been millions of times cooler.

yea, thats the same reason i went into it. I downloaded all episodes and never watched it then i actually did and i fell in love. If you need the lyrics i can give them to you.

The shows pretty good, espicially towords the secend season. Its gets crazy. Kei gets all jealous and everything, quite interesting.Playing: DJMAX Technika 2

I've wanted to see this one for a while, I heard it was GEWD. Is it a light hearted funny anime or a dark violent one? I like both but I like being prepared before I watch.Comment

Since I have a friend who constantly leaves his anime at my house (22 more or less) I'll read the back of the box from Gantz.

He hasn't finished collected it, and I have seen the 1st through the 4th DvD. (About.. 11 or so episodes) It's not bad. There are some funny parts, and I like being able to hear what Kei is thinking and what's on his mind. There's alot of cussing, and violent themes, but from what I've seen it's pretty good.
And I agree. Opening theme is great.Comment
