    Is Johannes Bertens Male or Female?

    Yeah, read the title. This is for my english synoptic exam tomorrow. One of the items on the pre-release material is "Literary Theory: The Basics". I just need to know if the author is male or female because either:

    I) It's a male view on modern feminism and the nature of feminist criticism

    Or

    2) It's a females view on modern feminism and the nature of feminist criticism.

          Thank you. I could be taking things in two ways, but now I know it's a guy fighting for how we stereotypically view feminist writers/women in books.

          This paper shouldn't be too bad. So far we have George Eliot (female writing as a male pseudonym in a feminist way). Johannes is the male writing for feminism. The last piece is some females ranting about feminism.

          God, I hate feminism.
