There is nothing wrong with this thread. My one suggestion would to give your reasoning WHY you like the quote, instead of just saying that you like it.
I can understand the theory behind the quote, although it is hyperbolized and skewed in view. Then again, I haven't changed my style of clothing in 7 years.RIPComment

Back on topic, I think this quote is basically saying that fashion and popularity go in a cycle. One minute you are there with the "cool" attitude or cool look, but then you get screwed as it changes. I think it is saying that the future generations will be chasing around nothing instead of focusing in on what matters. Personally, I don't care what others really think of me, and I really feel like I'm an individual. I hate it when people stare at me because I do something a little different. Exressing yourself is really getting rare in society these days. I'm a bit off topic, but I think you get the idea.
