    Nintendo DS & Europe

I have a Nintendo DS (North American but its region-free) and I have US DS Charger.

I really don't want to have to buy a European DS Charger, I do have many European to American (240v plug to 120v plug) adapters, but I'm not sure if that would harm the DS or not.

Does anyone know if the DS Charger will work with an adapter in Europe?

Or could point me to somewhere where I could find out ?

    Thanks,

    NiK

I don't think it would do any harm to the Nintendo DS, but you might want to call Nintendo to be sure. Call 1-800-255-3700 and talk to a representative, and they should be able to give you a for-sure answer.

EDIT: You may see 1-800-225-3700 on the back of your DS... they're both NoA numbers. Just in case you're skeptical about the number. The above is the original number that I've always called.

      Hmm....

I now think that it won't work putting a 120v plug into a 240v output would work.

But I have a car adapter and I'm renting a car. So I win!

      Yay!

Thanks for the help though nforcer.
