A while ago i thought that buying the ps2 DDR was a waste of time since there seems to be abosolutely no arcade machines in all of vermont, but lo and behold! As if they read my mind, my school got one for our cafe...thing...so now i actually need to practice at home. So i was wondering which mix to get, im mostly debating between Max 1 and Max 2. Which one should i get, or should i just get a diff mix? Thanks!

If you have a modded PS2 that can play imports, see about getting the japanese version of DDR Extreme. It's more or less the US version - There's enough english in the game so that you'll understand what you're doing - But it's better synced and has cool songs.
If you don't, then it depends on what you want. Both the PS games are more or less equal, so it's your choice.
However, I would suggest considering buying a PSX -> USB adapter from www.levelsix.com and using that and DWI from www.dancewithintensity.net . That'll let you download songs off the net (I suggest www.ddruk.com for the actual song files) and play them on your computer, giving you a HUGE song list to select from, for only the cost of an adapter instead of all the games... I think I'm only missing one or two offical arcade songs from my list :P -
