I picked up the final installment of the Katamari Series on Wednesday, but yesterday was the first chance I really had to play the game.
I haven't gotten too far into the game yet, but I have played it enough to get a good impression of the game. For those of you who dont want to read a lot, I've added a summary at the end of each description and a rating.
The controls aren't bad, but they dont compare to the previous installments of the series.
The physics are very much like physics of the original. Again, not bad, but not as good as they were in We Love Katamari.
The graphics are pretty impressive. The colors are more vivid than they were in the previous installments. However, on occasion when the camera pans out, everything slows down...but it doesnt affect gameplay.
The sound, too, is impressive. Including many songs from the previous games and some extras, including instrumental pieces.
Overall, Me and My Katamari is a worthy of the Katamari series, though it isnt perfect. If you havent played any of the Katamari games, I suggest checking out either Katamari Damacy first, or We Love Katamari before purchasing Me and My Katamari as it is more expansive than the other two games and, frankly, isnt as good. But Me and My Katamari works just fine for those who want to roll on the go.
