    Quick Poll

    So I'm downloading both Aeon Flux (the original MTV shorts) and Season 1 of Monk. Assuming they finish downloading around the same time and I have a limited amount of free time in which to watch...

    Which do I watch first? I'd like real answers please, not just "Aeon is HAWT" or "Monk could lick my lyme-coated corpse any day."

    (Please note: I prefer to see stuff straight through rather than one ep of this and then one of that--to keep continuity and such.)

      I've always thought that Aeon Flux sucked horribly. I never could see the appeal of it.

      Monk is awesome, but be aware that the episodes are very long.

              Long? They're not the standard hour? I caught the end of an episode today and really enjoyed it, but as per tv.yahoo.com it was just an hour long.

              Also, I've seen very very short clips of Aeon Flux--like, 3 or 4 seconds worth in her awesome costumes--and been interested, and after the movie (*barf*) I thought I should see the original...I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth the 13 gigs though.

                          I would have to say monk is the 1st I would watch, the 2nd Aeon Flux, the 3rd... (goes on in true OCD fashion)

                              Well...I am sad now. Monk stopped half-way through (stupid non-seeders) and Aeon only has 1 hour left on it. So...unless the new Monk downloads much faster than the old one (and it currently reads 43 hours and going up! dammit!) then I will be watching Aeon whether I like it or not.

                              I do like Monk from the (extremely) little I've seen of it. I can't wait to see more.

                                  I've seen several episodes of Monk and never thought it was all that great. Not that it matters at this point, of course, but whatever.

                                      Go bake me a cake. You shouldn't be watching illegal downloads of TV shows. You should be baking me a cake, with ice cream in the middle. Or doing HOMEWORK.

                                          A) If I am baking you a cake, there SHOULDN'T be ice cream in the middle or it will melt. The ice cream is added AFTER the cake is baked.

                                              I liked Monk until they replaced Sharona with that other random chick. And they did it in the break I took from the show, so I have no idea how it happens, and I hate the new chick.

                                                  I've seen 3 episodes with Natalie (the one I caught and and 2 random season 4 ones that downloaded faster than the full first season) and 3 with Sharona...

                                                  Natalie isn't amazingly pretty but neither her face nor her voice piss me off, and I like how she is with Monk a lot more than how Sharona is. She doesn't treat him like a complete moron, which Sharona often does...I guess because she used to be a practical nurse and they often treat patients like they've had lobotomies. But Natalie's also kind of...bland.

                                                  Sharona is a two-fer. One, I like her because she is spunky and often looks hot. Two, I hate her because she has the most annoying accent ever (is that a NY accent? in San Francisco? It sure as hell isn't a Valley Girl accent) and acts like a retard. And her kid pisses me off. I want him to get hit by a truck.

                                                  I will comment more when I have more evidence. Meanwhile, this show is pretty damn awesome.

                                                      Aeon Flux was the worst show ever it made no sense and it was too much man thong

                                                      monk is a well thoughtout show with clever twists in each episode, although sharona owned natalie the show still beats the bajesus out of aeon flux

                                                          Aeon flux aint that great really, Im not too fond of petes style, plus the story was boring.
