    Legal Copyright lingo junk??

    I sent a message to this website (www.robert-miles.com) and asked them for rights for the song Fable by Robert Miles, 'cause it's my favourite song. Anyway, they sent me back, asking:

    We would be happy to help you in regard to your request.
    Could you kindly forward us your license proposal and detailed information for the usage and copyright clearance by you required ?

    WHAT?? Whaddoo I do? And plus, after I get this done, will someone kindly make the stepfile for it, because I'm too lazy to do it myself. (It's not that I don't know how, I'm just way too lazy). Anyway, thanks for listening.

      I'm sure they're thinking that you will be using the song for commercial purposes.

      I'm guessing that they want you to propose a deal; usage of their song for some payment from you, I guess...Too bad I'm not familiar with licensing. :/

          You asked for the rights to a song? Well of course they think it's for commercial use. What did you honestly expect? When you ask for the rights to a song, it's pretty much a proposition, saying you're going to use it for some movie, commercial, something that will earn you money. If you want this song stepped, just do it, I wouldn't ask for the rights to use it because chances are he will deny your rights if you don't fork over a reasonable amount of money (with commercial crap, a reasonable amount of money is... a lot, let's just say).

          My suggestion: Don't respond. I'd also suggest a name change and fleeing the country to Mexico because you're one of those serious people.

          In other news, Robert Miles is awesome.
