    The Pink Panther

Oh my god this movie was hilarious. There are rarely times when there isn't something comical happening.

PS When Steve Martin (main character) says something about how wonderful the internet is, some 12 year old kid in the back yells, "Awesome!". Rofl.

    RE: The Pink Panther

Go see the originals. Remakes rarely live up to the awesomeness of originals. Ocean's Eleven and Italian Job not included. Those remakes were equally good if not better than the originals.

Overall, Steve Martin still pisses me off to the nth degree. The movie was full of obvious cliched attempts at humor and lacked the originality of the original Pink Panther movies.

    Peter Sellers > Steve Martin.

      Uh... Beyonce Knowles?

Is there any greater reason NOT to pay money to see this movie?

I had a tiny bit of moisture in my nether regions from seeing her, but black women just really don't do it for me.

Heh heh heh I loved it. But I'm a fan of Steve Martin, so I was biased before I even went to see it :P

                I thought it was funny

I did see the originals too. Peter Sellers IS better than Steve Martin, but they tried. The humor was different, but it was still funny.

Return of the Pink Panther FTW (yay Peter Sellers)

This one didn't live up to the originals in the least.

But, it was still very very funny. I still lose it every time I see the "DERBURGER!" As drawn out as the beginning of that scene was, it rapidly picked up as his frustration grew.

Cute, clever, with some excellent slapstick.

This movie was so ****ing horrible I don't even know where to start.

Unfunny, rehashed comedy that might have made me laugh had I first not seen the gags 20 ****ing years ago.

Getting his finger caught in the door and swinging around? The "leaky pen staining the shirt" gag? Not to mention heaps of unfunny and uninspired slapstick, it's ****tiness further exacerbated by weak acting and Steve Martin's worst performance in years?

Go see the originals. At least they won't make you pissed you just wasted two hours, not to mention $7.

                    RottenTomatoes Rating= 20%

I work in a movie theatre; I wasted no money, and I thought it was very funny. I've seen the originals, and while Martin in no way lives up to Sellers, I still found myself laughing more often than not.

You tout RottenTomatoes as if they're the end all be all of movie reviews; of course, since I gave it a positive review, it's just as easy to disregard my review as the 20% that liked it.
