Like bahamut said, practice, lots of it too. If you have a ddr background, its a lot easier.
Try different finger styles. Most people prefer 3 fingers, 1 hand, middle finger acting as up and down arrows. Others, like myself, prefer 2 fingers. I use both index fingers, feels more right especially for avid ddr players.
And never ever try to get AAA on a song before you move on to the next song, don't even try to full combo before you move on. Keep playing a variety of songs, never stick with just one.
Also, playing a variety of songs will help you determine actual levels for each song and you can find songs that fit you're type better. Some people do better with songs with lots of doubles, some with off-beats, and some with tons of 1/8 notes in a row. But also, you'll find that some songs shouldnt be leveled what they are. Moonbeam, for example, is stated as Tricky, but its harder than several Challenging songs, and visa versa often.
But mainly, yeah, stick with bahamut and just practice
Alright, nevermind the last post. I was just really freaked out that there was a female pedophile after me, so I tend to lose it. I just put a buddylist block on my screen name, so I should be safe. However, I hate buddylist block.

I'll have to disagree with you on the playing style comment. More people probably play 4-fingered than anything else. It's the configuration I (and several experts) consider to be the best for maximum performance.
As for a more complete listing of what the real levels of the songs are, Jimerax has a thread about that, but since they haven't released any new songs since the end of 2005 tolled, it's sunk...I would guess it'd be on page 3 as of this post. (And yes, Moonbeam really is challenging. It starts with an 8th stream with 4th jumps, then a long 16th stream with occasional jumps, a pause, then the easy part, and another long jumpy 16th stream followed by a brief trill wraps up the song more or less. If that sounds hard, that's because it is. Took me a while to full combo it. >_<)
