Well, my grandmother is at it again.

I'm here, perusing the train-wreck of fun from last night when my grandmother comes upstairs.

    "Bentley?"

No one told her I'm home.

"Michael! When did you get in? How did you get in?"

    "Last night/bus."

    "I'm in serious trouble."

She proceeds to explain to me her trouble: My uncle, who sells books on Amazon for a living, works out of my grandmothers house (my basement) and then takes the books and ships them. Apparantley, attached to one of the books he sent out was a murder-note, threatening the woman who was getting the book.

The woman called the return address (my grandmothers house, seperate phoneline) and told her the police were getting involved. Instead of reasoning about it, my grandmother hung up and tells me, "They're going to arrest me because I threatened to kill a black woman."

    "Did you leave the note?"

    "No."

"Then you have nothing to worry about."

"But it came from my address!"

    "Did you leave the note?"

    "No."

"Then you have nothing to worry about."

My grandmother starts crying and walks back to her apartment. She comes back up a few minutes later, worried again because my uncle isn't supposed to be selling books on Amazon in the first place (or sometihng) and my grandmother thinks that she's going to be doing some hard time or something.

And I don't have the heart to tell her the reason I'm home is medical =/

Dude, that is the most unfourtunate series of events...that I can still chuckle at.

Hope that turns out OK for your Grandmother though.

First you get through all your heart trouble, and now this? Your life is one heck of a rollercoaster. Your grandmother should of reasoned with her, though, would of been the smart thing =/ Hope she does fine.

Your uncle has an odd living, too :P

Never mess with a black woman, although I'm sure most people know that.

See, my grandmother, being hip on everything, panicked and hung up the phone, so no one really knows what the hell is going on, really.

Save for the poor, confused black woman.
