You know in stepmaina, when your are scrolling down the wheel and stop on a song, the songs banner shows in the box. The artist frequently put a rotating avatar over it. I'm starting to make my own simfiles, but how do I make the artist symbol?

Yeah, just put an image in the folder, open up the .sm file and you'll see something like
#CDTITLE:;
Say your image is named like fagmosis.png you'd put
#CDTITLE:fagmosis.png;
And it'll work. kthx.
