After getting burned to a crisp in my first werewolf game, I decided to look elsewhere for RPing satisfaction. Lo and behold, a topic in the GB comes up, where everyone posts like morons. I try to be funny by being serious, and I just get overwhelmed. Trying to create a counterthread backfired as well.
So what I'm saying is this: There might be a few good (role-playing) men around here, but they have no real place to let their talents shine through. (No, the chat room does not count, because I am forced to use X( for >_<, for example.)
What I propose is that Critical Thinking's topicality extend to role-playing as well as serious discussion and debates. Playing in a werewolf game, to me, isn't so much role-playing as it is messing with people's heads, and is quite cutthroat in nature on top of that. A more relaxed RPing environment might allow for a logical extension of the fanfic writing that seems to have become so popular all of a sudden around here.
Discuss.
