Nobody says this correctly, and I find that a little bit funny.
And I like what that younger Dr. guy said at the very end. It's not like that Bible is all bad, just that it's not all true, and to take it as such is kinda silly and means you missed the point of it being a giant metaphor for a lot of things.
I just wish they had said something about that thing ing Revalations. >______<
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
Brilliant. And true. There's one thing to be religious, but people that take the bible seriously need to grow a brain. Or actually read it. I heard many people say 'I believe everything in the bible' during this discussion in class last week...but they've never actually read it.
I thought that episode was utter bs. I didn't appreciate them bashing my beliefs, but of course that's the way Penn and Teller are.
Maybe you should have listened to the beginning of the show. They specifically said they cannot touch most of you. They were merely disproving the claims that the bible was historically and in many other ways, inaccurate. They did not in any way say that the beliefs are Christians are wrong. You sir, need to listen harder and not immediately jump to conclusions.
