Head over to the Artist Permissions forum section for all the details on how you can get your music into the game.
You'll be able to ask for help, and hopefully find out if anyone is interested in immediately stepping your tunes.
Aside from the obvious beginning and end of the song, i didn't hear any traces of Mario Paint in there. You're lucky that this song is a sphere of mad awesomeness, or i would be very upset.
Most of the song besides the beginning and the end is based off of elements of the melody from the original, but made quite a bit different. So yeah, I don't blame you if you don't recognize it too much. Specifically, the strings that come in at 0:15 and elsewhere are close to the main melody that the song starts with in the NES sounds. And the arpeggiating crazy synth at 3:40 is the same melody that hte song ends with at 3:58. Those are the most obvious ones.
This track was made in Reason 3.0 and Acid Pro 5 (no canned loops were used in case you were wondering).
Who do I talk to if I want to try to get a short version of this track in FFR? Haven't been around in a while...don't know the ropes anymore.
Glad you guys like it.
Wonderful Bite - New SGX Album! You can get it for free, yo!
I wasn't expecting anything short of awesome... And indeed I wasn't mistaken... I'll be buying your CD soon... Cuz I've been listening to your music a lot in my car, and you're getting so popular now and I'm so happy for you... keep up the good work and keep busting out the awesome music!
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
Seeing as Mario Paint is one of the absolute greatest things ever made, I was definitely not disappointed in this. Keep up all of your awesome work. <3
