    The Making of FFR. Howd they do it!?

    I posted on the ask a question in the FAQ section but i suspect this will produce faster results. I don't know too much about flash i jsut made it past learning to pass asp variables slwoly through scripts and databases. This sites multiplayer mode baffles me. I did not think anything this fast and interactive in real time was possible with flash. How do they do it?!

      Frankly, Archmage, even if the people responsible were willing to tell you, I think they might be legally bound not to. Something about non-disclosure agreements.

      Just curious, but why would you want to know? Are you working on a project of some kind and hope to use some features of FFR? (One thing on R1 I've noticed, however, is that because all the songs scroll at the same speed, it's possible to judge perfect/good/average on position instead of time. That would never work in R2, though.)

              I think the chat is coded in java or something.

              Other than that, I can't really help and I wouldn't even if I could. The secretiveness is what drives FFRs uniqueness.

                          maybe he should set up one of those big long treasure hunt things to the secret behind FFR. One of those things that people have so the right person can find their way to the secret of FFR.
