    The other side of War.

    I was thinking... we have all these video games about Vietnam and World War II...

    now, specifically, the WW2 games focus mainly on Europe. But:

    a) are there games made by German gamemakers that take the other side of WW2? The goal is to exterminate the Jews and prevent a 2 front attack vs the allies and russians?

    b) Does Sony/Nintendo (Japanese companies) make Japanese only games where the goal is to destroy Pearl Harbor?

    Basically, we only see these games where the Americans are the good guys. ARE there games made in other countries for popular game systems where the other side of history is shown?

              NOBODY is going to make a game about that. Germans are not proud of that part of their history, and no major company would risk making a game about exterminating Jews.

              As for the other things, I have no idea. There was that Viet Nam game where you could play as either American or Vietnamese but I can't remember if it was North or South Vietnamese that you could play as. Personally, I wish there were more games where you could play as either side in a war. I also wish they would do some wars other than WW2, Viet Nam, and slightly postmodern. There are no WW1 games, and definitely no games about wars where they didn't have automatic weapons. It kinda sucks that people won't try new eras/viewpoints for games.
              So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

              In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

              So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
              And I write the blog for their website.

              Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O
