If crossovers are hard for you, try reading the stickies in this forum. But basically, you have your right foot on the down arrow and tap the left arrow with your left foot. You swing your left foot over to the right arrow while pushing the down arrow with your right foot. Finally you tap the right arrow with your left foot. You will be sideways, and you just turn your body back towards the screen. If it is a continuous crossover stream, repeat the above pattern. When you tap the right arrow, swing your left leg back to the left arrow. Your right foot stays on the down arrow. Not too difficult once you get the hang of it. These types of patterns are repeated throughout most songs on heavy, so get used to the awkward patterns.

thanks, thats what I've been trying to do, i just always hit the upper -right square whenever i do it, plus i have a metal pad and i can't slide my feet at all...I make music, listen to my tracks here - - or here - - My music cures AIDSComment

You shouldn't get into a habit of sliding your feet anyways. The only time you should slide your feet is if you aren't good at spinning and the streams of spinning (Break Down, Daikenkai, etc.) Spinning is usually left, down, right, up, left. This is annoying and is the only time you should slide your feet, don't get into a habit of doing this on crossovers. If you do this, you will get screwed over on the faster streams, such as Afronova. If you tried to slide your feet on Afronova, you would get raped and killed...
