    Howard Stern is Going to Digital Satellite Radio

    So yeah, I hereby claim this the official Howard Stern thread for everything related to Howard Stern leaving the station he's worked with for 20 years and heading to Sirius digital satellite radio. I don't remember whose replacing him, but I think it was some guy, Adam Carolla, and some rock band leader. Anyone who listens to the show knows that he's VERY anxious to get to Sirius, where he won't have to be held back by censorship. I don't get to listen to him for very long in the morning (only up to 8pm when school starts) but his show is pretty damn awesome and my dad is seriously considering switching to Sirius when Stern leaves.

    Anyone else a Howard Stern listener?

      So Howard Stern is a radio broadcaster? Never heard of him, perhaps I have before. Though i'm not sure. Is he on AM or FM?

          You're obviously not the age of 13 or older.

          Other than old news, I don't have Sirius. No more Howard for me :/.

          Well maybe his TV show will still be on.

                      Yea, he goes to sirius in like january 2006 right?. anyway, sirius is only $13 a month so why not. Plus a buncha commercial free radio... Its cool stuff

                                  old stuff. There was a show on vh1 or E or something, about Howard stern's accused of talking about anal sex over the radio, he got banned, and nearly forced one of the head guys at the FFC to quit. Good times..

                                      Funny thing is... I've been listening to Howard since before some of you guys were born.

                                      Anyway, its David Lee Roth who is taking over after Howard leaves. He was the original singer for Van Halen. Sammy Hagar took over after he left.

                                      I'm definately thinking of buying Sirius just for Howard. He makes my mornings entertaining.

                                          I listen to Howard when I have days off from school.
                                          As for Adam Carolla, he does a radio show caled Loveline with a real doctor(Dr.Drew, who apparently has a show on Discovery Channel or something like that). He's also chums with Tom Arnold.
