    how do i use the simfiles idownloaded?

    just wondering because idownload
    ed and unzipped them but i cant play them!

          You take the folder containing the mp3 and .sm file, and place it in a folder within your song folder. The folder hierarchy should be like this:

          Stepmania CVS>Songs>Songs folder>Stepfiles
