7 fingers XD i use as you call it the 3 finger two hands and spread styles mixed to gether however its vary unnatrual and i i only bother useing it on quasar.

practice is definatly needed. i think my 7 finger way could give me an insain boost.

You want tips on Quasar? Slow it down to 0.7x (it's piss easy on .7) to read it better, once you get a sense for Eggman's patterns you can read it five or six notes at a time, and it goes by a lot easier. (If you have a harder version, get Eggman's.)

You want DDR tips? Practice.

4-fingers is when you're using index and middle finger of your left hand, and index and middle finger on your right hand. I think the best way to do it is:

Leftmiddle: Left
Leftindex: Down
Rightmiddle: Right
Rightindex: Up

This way, the leftmost two columns are left hand, and the rightmost two columns are right hand. If you really want to, you can read the two sets of columns separately instead of together.

You can play this way either with all four fingers on the arrow keys (I hate doing this, my fingers always get in the way of each other) or spread, where you separate the two hands so they don't get in each other's way.

Keep doing the two sets of keys, though. That's theoretically the best method IMO because you can switch, instantly, between any method that way (index, one-hand, 4-finger). Jackhammers (like down-down-down-down, etc.) are a lot easier this way, too, because you can alternate left and right. Some people would call that cheating, though.

(For the record, I've AAed Quasar and I can only AAA Flash In The Night, and that was one hand, I haven't AAAed anything on two.)

Well its not a rule it's just logic.

If you map more than 4 keys you can decide out of many keys which you want to hit. You can trill on jacks and mash twice as fast, thus giving you an unfair advantage over people who play normally.

Its not an unfair advantage if other people are capeable of doing it as well.

We are capable but we don't do it because that would make us jerks.

To each his own is as simple as I can put it. 2 finger, 7 finger, 12 finger, who the hell cares as long as you have fun.

Well, go ahead and and play with if a double setup if you want, just don't expect anyone to care when you show em scores.
