TWG XX Host Signups (Time change!)

You know the drill. Send me notes detailing your host speech.

I'll open voting on Saturday at 1 PM Eastern. Voting will be open for 48 hours. Once that's done, I'll pick a signups time.

    ---

    Afrobean

Similar to TWGI. Seer, guardian, three wolves and eleven greens. No master wolf. 16 players. If anyone has any problems with this, PM me or something.

PS Thanks to Tass for not PMing me and instead posting to point out a flaw in my proposed game. I really appreciate my flaws being openly exposed.

    The twist:
Similar to eb, I'd be giving the story in a special format.

Ignore the crudity of these samples. The real thing would be slightly less crude... SLIGHTLY.

(links so that the images don't clutter the host signups thread)

I'll figure out what to do with people that don't have avs that could be characters if I win.

(Editor's note: I'm not diggin' the whole unhappy/dead Roll.EXE thing we have going on here.)

Story: I'm putting a lot of effort into it simply because I want to. It'll be as interesting as you make it with the standard TWG line of an isolated group taking the law into its own hands.

However, the death messages will not be for the weak of stomach. Long and intricate, they will be the focus of the stories.

Roles: Three wolves, sixteen people. Master wolf, three blues.

Voyeur: Just like last time. The voyeur can choose to watch someone at night. If the person he is watching gets wolfed, the voyeur will be told the identities of one of the wolves. However, the voyeur only gets three chances to watch someone.

Bookie: Each night, the bookie chooses either who he thinks will be killed during the night or who will be lynched the following day. If he is correct he has the opportunity to anonymously vigi someone on the next night.

Prostitute: The prostitute is a special seer. She can choose to sleep with someone of her choice each night, thus finding out the identity of the person if he gets up to kill someone. However, with a prostitute comes blackmail. Each night, the wolves will pick someone. If that person is with the prostitute that night, his vote will not count the next day due to the blackmail. Nobody will know whether or not this is successful unless it becomes important to the lynching, in which case I will announce who gets lynched (or if there is a KiB). Be especially aware of phantom votes with this.

e.g. Tass has three votes and one phantom. Chardish has three votes and no phantoms. Hans, who is being blackmailed, voted for Tass. So, at the end of the day, rather than Tass dying as everyone would suspect, chardish dies instead.

RULES ADAPTATIONS: The game will be over when the number of wolves EQUALS the number of humans, rather than having the wolves outnumber them.

    Mystery PMs are acceptable.

Special roles will not be announced upon death.

Instalynch will occur upon a majority of votes regardless of phantoms.

I will be extremely reluctant to give replacements.

Yes, I'm running again. This makes 5 now, right? Damn. But I digress.

My proposed game has 14 players. 3 wolves, all normal. Basic enough, right? It's time for something new in terms of special roles. We'll be using a seer and a vigilante, but that's it. No guardian. Should make for an interesting experience since this is the first time such has happened (well, aside from Manhunt).

The theme will be that of 2x2 = Shinobuden. Yes, it's an anime theme again, but the show is funny as hell. Plus it has ninjas. I'll try to do my best to duplicate the comedy seen in Roasted Fanclub Chicken, but no guarantees.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

    RE: TWG XX Host Signups

Afro: Two questions... 1. TWG 1 had no MW. Safe to assume yours doesn't either? 2. There were 15 players in TWG 1... and there haven't been in a single game since. Why, you ask? I thought you'd never... it is because with an odd number of starting players, there is an even number of players during the day, provided there is not a guarding. So with 15 players, you get the whole 3 wolves & 3 humans drill, instead of 16 where it would be 4 humans & 3 wolves. Also, should you decide to stick with 15, TWG 1 was NOT over when wolves=humans. I was rather upset at Chardish over this, but if you go back to the game, there was a point when it was 3 vs 3, and we had to vote someone off to win that day. It didn't just end.

PS - Guido is my personal prostitute. Sorry Amanda.
    RIP

I like the way Guido's game looks. Sorry, Afro, I love your story idea, but I feel it's time we tried something new.

I vote Guido, for the intrigue of the game. And that I might, just might have a better chance of getting a special role.

Kilga. I hate the guardian role ever since this previous game, so it's nice to see a basically normal game minus the guardian.

As much as I'd like to host, I'd also like to play.

PS The only reason I went for normal play is because I don't want to ruin my first game by adding new elements. I have a decent idea for something new, but I don't want to try it until I've hosted at least once before just so I have some experience.
