RE: where to buy DDR?
Well, for X-box, your gonna want to buy Ultramix 2, you can find this at any Wal-Mart, EB games etc. For a decent pad, I suggest you buy one on either e-bay, or something online. If your serious about this, and can spend a couple 100, then buy a cobalt flux metal pad. -

Oh my god. What the fuck? Toph?
Take it easy on the newbs Toph. Whatchu been thinkin'?!
As for where to purchase, everyone covered it pretty well. I got mine off the internet or something though. I got DDR Max2 for PS2 and an official Konami mat from the Red Octane site I think. It's still functioning, so if you're not getting a metal pad, I suggest getting a Konami mat.

I professionally apologize, but mostly because you said "Whatchu been thinkin'?!"
Try eBay for the best prices, honestly, but only if you're patient and don't mind sniping. Red Octane works too, and they're good for decent pads and stuff.ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffComment

Re: where to buy DDR?
Buying the game just varies. Buy it from the cheapest store but for pads I went to Best Buy(they can be expensive) and got one of those foam or whatever you call the material Red Octane pads and I love it more than metal pads. Its also more durable and I can take it to friends houses easily. It only cost a $100 from Best Buy where I got it. In my opinion a lot of metal pads are also expensive and deffective, but that varies from company to company. But other people probably have better advice than me so good luck shopping(if you already havent bought the stuff). Oh yeah one last thing...don't buy any DDR stuff from eBay. The stuff never works. The only reason they sell it there is because they know someone will pay the retail price for a used and broken mat. This has happened to me with DDR, Paintball, electronics that I have bought from ebay.
