I apologise if this should belong in the gaming section, but this is an interesting announcement for Canadian ITG2/DDR players (mainly ITG2) that shouldn't go unnoticed. What's so special about it? If I'm not mistaken, it's the first legit ITG tournament in Canada (correct me if I'm wrong).
There's going to be an outdoor tournament in Ottawa with 8 different events.
You can read more about it here (scroll down for more rules):
Here is a sample flier for the tournament:
The different events you can sign up for:
- DDR Standard
- DDR Middle-weight (people that are too good for standard, but not good enough to compete with hardcore players)
- DDR Heavy
- ITG2 Medium/Hard
- ITG2 Hard/Expert
- ITG2 Battle
- ITG2 Survivor
- Freestyle (DDR extreme and ITG2 available)
- Doubles (Most likely on DDR)
Making a total of 9 possible things to enter.
P.S. - I'm going to be there. :O
Edit: http://www.midwayfunpark.com/map.htm This is the directions to Midway.
Edit #2: I was also thinking about making this a FFR easern Canada meet-up considering Ottawa is in the center of Toronto and Montreal. It would be perfect because there's another motive to coming to Ottawa rather than meet some random person on the internet.
