    Ultramix 3 confirmed songs

    Well I've been looking around and found out a demo list of ultramix 3 songs.

      DDR needs NEW songs, not the same songs they've use in the past 9999999 mixes.

              How come the Xbox owners get to have the good songs (in my opinion) again? The songlist has a lot of unreleased (in the U.S.) Konami Original material and they get to have a newly made song, too.
              Oh, and I didn't expect Butterfly to be on the list.

                  this is looking useless to owners of import extreme or max 2. i am doubtful that 13 songs make up the list, so i am going to wait till i see the rest of the songs
                  i have a good feeling about um3 though

                      It took them THIS long to put Sakura into an american release? My god. Anyway, Konami is ridiculous. Either find every single DDR song ever made and chuck it into some like "collection mix" or make a whole new mix where 2/3 of the songs are new.

                      Otherwise, I'm not buying it.

                          From what I see, they are seperating the PS2 DDR from the X-Box, making it equal for everyone to play everything.

                              I am also assuming that 4 of those songs will be Extreme 2. Looking at the songlists for the previous Extreme US and UM2, I guess 4 of the Konami Originals will be unlockables in Extreme 2.
                              I am also expecting a lot of exclusive Beatmania crossovers, a Beatmania 10-footer, and new originals in addition to the demo songlist.
                              Also, Konami is unlikely to make a US release version of DDR with more than 75 songs. They let their original songs trickle out of their collection and fill the rest of the disc with licensed songs, a little bit of the Dancemania collection, and possibly, Karaoke Revolution songs (Ugh... XP). With the PS2 versions, each game has on average 70 songs. And the most songs in one of the games was 71.

                              P.S.: Alex, let me know if you get UM3 when it's released.

                                  The only song so far that i know are on both Ultramix 3 and Extreme 2 is Candy*.

                                      I think we might be able to expect a lot of pop'n songs, not just beatmania. Pop'n is way more popular in Japan than DDR is anyways.

                                              We probably will get a lot of new material, although most of it may come from Beatmania, as Beatmania (the game) is going to be released this year.

                                              As for Ultramix 3, do you think there will be a new Beatmania 10-footer? If yes, which song do you think it will be?
                                              As for me, I never played the game myself, so I'm just going to go with the Beatmania song that I heard someone else play: Abyss (The Heavens Mix).

                                                  Hell Scaper or Quasar would be great...if they do put those as the crossovers from beatmania they should make them over 10 foot or make another max or paranoia and make it over 10 feett. People are looking for harder songs, and thus people play itg.
