    Suggestion to END SPAM IN CHAT.

    (Please don't judge me by my starting date - I'm not a newb, not that I care.. just I forgot my password for my other account).

    Because it ticks me off so much when a n00b randomly comes into my room and starts spamming.. Not only does my computer freeze, but I lose my levels!!

    They always spam the main chat.. so I can't even get into the room. Sooo, I have come up with a solution to end it all!

    This is what they did in MSN, (I used to be a big msn chatroom chatter... and then they messed everything up).. If someone was typing real fast for about.. hm, 5 lines - they'd automatically be ignored.

    Ah, ignoring - another good solution. LET THERE BE AN IGNORE BUTTON TO IGNORE A USER!

    Or simply make it so you can only do around three messages in a row inbetween say, five seconds or something.. Like Yahoo does. (Or did? I don't use Yahoo anymore).

    I don't know how hard it would be to do any of this - but please try your hardest! I'm sure all of us are fedup with n00by spammers.


    (btw, this forum thingy reminds me of Gaia).

      I would like them to do this too, because its not fair when a complete idiot is allowed to ruin the fun of the many people in the chat. Also, this forum is in no way similar to gaia! Gaia is a forum that is 90% n00bs, 5% intelectuals, 1% mods, and 4% non-used accounts.

          lol, I didn't mean by the people in it. I just meant by the set-up.. But then again, maybe all forums are the same..

          But yesh - the n00bs are crazy!! And I want my level to go up, not down!

                  I meant the set-up.. I like Gaia better(sorry FFR).. but there are little things that remind me of the set-up!! Yeesh.

                      Anywyas, back on topic, I don't think it's possible to add those kind of functions to the chat because I beleive it's a software, not a program that Synth or someone on the site coded himself.

                          Maybe they can ugrade their software for the newer version or something? I don't know - it was only a suggestion..

                                      Tolerances for spam have been changed.. Hopefully this will catch spammers more often and I have changed the temp ban so that it will ban someone 10X as long as before.

                                          another suggestion, make it so observers either can't talk while the players are in the middle of a song or make it so the observers can't talk period. that would solve ALL the problems.
