RE: And you thought it never would
You know, they had a video of this thing over a year ago.
You use your hands to hit circles or clear stuff from the screen. Works for me.
Dancing is not all about moving your feet, and the game is called Dance Dance Revolution.

I don't understand. Is Konami just HANDING the arcade franchise over to ITG or what? I mean, all Konami has to do to beat ITG is release another arcade version with all kinds of extras like ITG has. It wouldn't even be hard. Konami is retarded.
Honestly, though, I think I'd rather get ITG than this.
EDIT: I got an eyetoy for Christmas. It is currently connected to my computer as a webcam.

RE: And you thought it never would
Well, I'm just guessing that Konami is focusing on Beatmania IIDX for now. I guess Konami isn't planning to make a new version soon, or they're just keeping things secret if they are. I didn't hear much about new DDR in Japan, except for a few times like when I heard that Paula Terry and Naoki made a new song for DDR (she didn't specify anything, though).
DDR Extreme 2 looks promising, however. It looks so much better than the first US Extreme in my opinion, and it seems that there is imported content from Beatmania and Dancemania when I looked at some screenshots. If I am correct about what I just said, yay!

Re: RE: And you thought it never would
Yeah, I know. Never played it, only heard of it, though. I just didn't mention it because I wasn't sure if Pop 'n Music was going to have another arcade release. Also, I heard something about announcements of a new dancing game from Konami. And no, it's not a DDR game.Originally posted by pacmanapprovesYou're forgetting Pop'n Music. Also, I think I heard "Genie In a Bottle" is in Extreme 2. Not sure which version it's going to be, though. But I'm still pumped about online play, though.

Eye Toy**yea bout if youve ever owned/ messed with an itoy, there dumb and a waste of money
And the games it came with are fun and interesting for a while. I would use it a lot more if Police 911 came out on PS2 and used the Eye Toy, though.
And I don't buy console DDR games anymore, so.....meh.So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment
