    Where can I download a song and .dwi file?

    Yes... I've asked the million dollar quesiton. At least I did it in the n00b forum.

    I'm thinking of making a song and steps for it, and it would be helpfull to see a song and simple .dwi for reference.

      Download a stepfile from bemanistyle.com. Any one will work, just use one as a reference. Also, check the Stepmania Simfile forum; theres a Sticky there that explains how to make a stepfile. theres a few of them combined into one. you can't miss it.
